Saintgits IEEE PES SB chapter in association with IEEE- IAS SB organized an expert talk and interactive session on modern optimization techniques. The sessions were handled by Dr. Vinod Chandra S. S., Director Computer Centre, Kerala University. The talk covered modern optimizations techniques like Ant-colony and Bee-colony optimization techniques which motivated the participants to do interdisciplinary research and triggered discussions on possible areas of research. 33 participants, including faculty members and post graduate students from various departments attended the event.
